Hot Pot

Check out Little Q on Washington Street, Boston (Chinatown). It's a new hot pot restaurant that also serves sushi. The new bar looks pretty cool too.

anything in chinatown is cheap and good. hot pot (shabu-ya) in harvard square is too expensive, in case anyone wanted to know.

yeah, hot pot seems over rated and over priced. it's just sliced meat, why does a plate of that cost 18 bucks?

shabu-ya in harvard is below par. shabu-zen in chinatown and allston are only okay. the food's nothing spectacular and somewhat pricy, but the energetic vibe makes up for it if you're in the mood. the plus for the allston location is the parking lot. i actually prefer kaze when im in chinatown for hot pot, although i haven't tried the all you can eat place yet.

little q in quincy was awesome, especially when they had the all you can eat deal a few summers ago. the one in arlington is my default hot pot spot now and i've yet to try the new location in chinatown.

if you have time you should make your way out to allston. It's not china town but the intersection of harvard st and brighton ave has a lot of chinese shops and lots of hot pot!
