From my past experience....the connecting flights are on very small planes...so if you have a fear of small planes book a straight flight

The connecting flight we had from Buffalo to NYC was a standard size plane, then we flew direct from NYC to Montego Bay. I don't think there are any flights to Negril (where we stayed), but it's an hour and a half ride from the airport. I kind of wish they had something a little quicker emoticon

I agree connecting flights are the WORSE on any airline!

I don't mind flying into Montego Bay on a connecting flight, it's coming home that is the problem. I'd much rather get a non-stop home and have to deal with customs at my home airport. I've had issues in the past with almost missing my flight home because of issues with customs. Plus, if you bring liquor home from the duty free at the airport, you carry it on, rather than having to pack it in your luggage and hope the bottles don't get broken!emoticon
